I guess that I will stop reading and blogging about vacation tips today. I need a full day break after looking up travel information on Sea Pines rentals.

Instead of going shopping, hubby and I will go to a hot spring nearby. I don’t even remember when the last time we went there! I am looking forward to going there … in an hour.

Visitors are attracted to the Cameron Highlands largely for a change of climate and pace. However, most visitors to Cameron Highlands are quite contented to take a stroll around the towns and soak in the relaxed atmosphere at the night stalls.

Hubby is still with his business buddy and won’t be back until this Saturday. I hope he remember to buy the HDMI splitters I am looking for to connect more than SKY HD and DVD player to my TV.

I am glad that hubby and I are leaving Cameron Highlands next month. Moving back to the lowland means that shopping malls are easily accessible, thus doing shopping is much more convenient.

There isn’t any shopping mall in Cameron Highlands, only some mini markets. I remember hubby and I rushed to Ipoh to buy some ink cartridges 2 months ago !

It took us 1 1/2 hours to reach there and then another 1 1/2 hours to rush back to Cameron Highlands. It’s urgent that we needed the ink cartridges and we couldn’t find any in Cameron Highlands.

I am like Sweetpea who likes to give away books, clothes, toys and household items that we no longer use to the poor or some charitable organizations. I normally donate these unused items to Tzu Chi in Ipoh, Malaysia.

How do I make sure that they will not be used in future ? Who knows one day we may need these unwanted stuffs again ? Yeah.. I know we all like to tell ourselves this.

A very simple method that I have been using, yet it is very effective !

Firstly, pack them into boxes. Next, seal the boxes. Then, use a marker pen and write the date which is 1/2 year away. Let’s say today is 30 May,right ? You write 31 December 2007. Lastly, put the boxes aside.

Once it is 31 December, get that boxes out and send them to charitable organizations.

Never Never Ever Open The Boxes !!!! Do you hear me ? Never Open Them ! If you open, die liao !

Why ? You will hear yourself saying,” I might wear this”,”This may be useful”,”I should try to use it again”…..blah..blah…blah…and you end up keeping them in your house. Trust me ! Later, they will just be accumulating dust again in your house.

I have been applying this method to get rid of unwanted items in my house so that I have better and more convincing reason to do more shopping.
