In 3 days’ time, hubby will start his one and a half month long’s school holidays.

Actually I think hubby’s holidays began last Monday. All the teachers have been busy preparing the students’ report card that there is no need for them to go into the classrooms to teach anymore.

For those part time teachers who don’t have to prepare report cards, they are either helping other teachers or busy discussing the latest news, politics and personal stuff like checking out used rv for sale, waiting for Black Friday deals and Christmas home decoration ideas.

As for the students, they have been having fun with inter-class competitions and contests.

While shopping for some plasma mounts online yesterday morning, my younger sister sent me a text message informing me that she was planning a family trip to Cameron Highlands during the year end school holidays.

Oh, no, another trip to CH again? We just had our family trip to Cameron Highlands in September! Do we have to go there so often?

My sister’s suggestion is that we stay at a Tudor-style villa this time.

Frankly speaking, I am not so keen to have my holidays there. Neither is hubby. We would rather stay at home or travel out of town during the year end school holidays.

My hubby and I always advise our family members, relatives and friends to have their vacation in Cameron Highlands during low season. DO NOT COME here on public holidays or school holidays !

Why ? Everything is expensive !! Let’s talk about hotel accommodation and vacation homes here. How much do you have to pay per night for an apartment on Christmas Day ? At least $350 to $450. If you come during low season, I bet you can get the same apartment for only $150 !

What about meals in restaurants ? Definitely, you pay through the nose ! During peak seasons in Cameron Highlands, my hubby and I would rather run off to have Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Australia, New Zealands and Missouri vacation .

We had a very memorable vacation experience in Missouri, therefore it will be our destination again. I believe we will try Branson cabin rentals which are the perfect rustic and romantic getaway for my hubby and me. Branson, Missouri cabin rentals are nestled in the rolling foothills of the Ozark Mountains. Yip… I love mountains…I am living in Cameron Highlands in case you are new to my blog.

I just checked out some of my cabin rental choices. Look ! There are Jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces, fully-equipped kitchens and screened in back porches.Imagine lying in the Jacuzzi tub while drinking some wine …romantic enough, right ?

I was tempted to make reservation just now as I could receive FREE vouchers for Tanger Outlet Mall and Factory Merchants Branson coupon books worth hundreds of dollars in extra shopping savings !! Should I should I not …just a few clicks ?
