It’s been scorching hot these few days! I can feel the heat even from the coolest corner of the living room.

There are roller blinds in the living room to block the heat from the outside.

I think it’s the small cracks or tiny holes on the walls that let the heat seep in.

It’s worth accompanying my cousin to the sample sale yesterday. She did find a cash-and-carry wedding gown that she loved very much.

Instead of waiting for her to find the rest of the wedding dresses and accessories, I decided to sneak into a computer store which was just opposite the bridal shop.

There was a sale too. Some Acer desktops were sold at very low prices that I felt like grabbing one for my home office.

Of course, I was able to defeat my enemy called “impulse buying”. I remembered the models of the desktop and wanted to compare prices online.

Last week, hubby suggested we drive to his niece’s furniture shop to check if there were any new stocks for teak furniture. We did go there and were happy to have bought some stacking chairs.

As for my office furniture, I tried to find a pink computer cart. Too bad there wasn’t any pink computer desk or office chair.

I am thinking of painting my home office pink. Pink is sweet and healthy. Pink does make me feel calm and happy.

I have recently come to love pink stuff. Pink dresses, pink handbags, pink sandals, pink boots and lots of personal belongings.

I discussed with my hubby earlier that I would like to turn our guest room into a home office.

The reason is that I have been working from home for so many years, yet I don’t have my own office. I tend to get distracted easily by housework, phone calls, television and chats.

I hope that by setting up my own home office furnished with office furniture, I can produce more high quality paid posts and content rich non-paid posts.

Besides that, I get more organized as all file cabinets and file folders are within reach.
