To grow spiritually in a world defined by power, money, and influence is a Herculean task. Modern conveniences such as electronic equipments, gadgets, and tools as well as entertainment through television, magazines, and the web have predisposed us to confine our attention mostly to physical needs and wants.
As a result, our concepts of self-worth and self-meaning are muddled. How can we strike a balance between the material and spiritual aspects of our lives? (more…)

I believe you have known that I am loaded with $56,836 credit card debt and paying off my debt little by little by making more money online.
Besides that, I cut down on spending and expenses by going after sales, bargains and hot deals.
I love using coupons nowadays as it is one effective way that saves me a few bucks here and there online. Sometimes, I can save even more and get a better bargain by shopping at a different store and using a different online coupon.
I use BodyShop coupon codes for my personal health care products as The Body Shop is against animal testing on cosmetic products and ingredients.I normally buy in bulk as there is Free Shipping with any $55 purchases !
KeepCash online shopping store is updated daily, check out the hot deals if you are a techie or geek who love hot deals on pink MP3 players, pink handphones, pink computers, pink digital cameras and other latest gadgets.
Don’t forget the Expiring Soon section where you can see all expiring coupons which you may have missed earlier.nIf one of the coupon codes or specials listed does not save enough money off of your purchase, you could try to use one of the coupons from one of other merchants which might sell the same product.

I went hanging around at JustMyTots’ blog and saw her post of Fortune Telling. It interests me as I used to believe in feng shui and fortune telling. Please note that: I USED to !
There was once my hubby and I were fanatic about placing all the fortune gadgets and accessories in our house. We wanted to activate our luck, wealth, health, marriage…
We did spend a lot of money on those feng shui items which we thought would bring us abundant wealth. Yes, we were already in debts that time and still bought those lucky gadgets using credit cards.
Now, they are left sitting in the house accumulating dust ! Sometimes, I wonder why we were so crazy at that time about feng shui ! My hubby tried to come out with the figure we spent on feng shui accessories. Gosh ! More than $5,000 ! I can name a few items here.
A dragon tortoise which is meant to bring wealth - $300
A laughing Buddha (as big as a 9-year-old kid) which is also for wealth - $250
A set of Fuk, Luk, Sau for wealth, health and luck- $120
A painting of 100 cranes which brings longevity ,including the frame - $400
A painting of both my hubby and my Chinese name, including frame - $50
Numerous windchimes which cost more than $30 each.
Statues of Kuang Kong, Laughing Buddha, Kung Yin and many other mini and large feng shui items…Wait ! Feng shui necklaces, bracelets, pendants, rings which are made of crystal, dzi beads, gold, silver…
Not only wasting money, I now have to do the dusting and cleaning ! Ridiculous !
Do I still believe in feng shui ? Well, I have abandoned it since I came to know the power of subconscious mind. If you keep telling yourself you are healthy and wealthy, you will attract more opportunities and monetary gains.
Tell me if it sounds logical to you. A fortune teller tells you that you will have luck this month. Naturally, your mind is focused on this message and all day long you will tell yourself and even family members that you will be lucky this month.
On the contrary, if the fortune teller tells you that you will be in bad fortune this month. Well, you mind will be geared towards this message all the time. When you keep thinking of this bad luck, you will attract bad incidents and luck.
So, have you had your fortune told before? This is your question, JustMyTots…;D My answer is YES ! A few times !
The most unforgettable one is the one that told me I may hit 4-digit-lottery before Chinese New Year. He told me to pay attention to digit which ends with 8.
On the way to Johor, we stopped by Kuala Lumpur and called my friend to buy 4-digit for us. We bought a friend’s new car number 8272. $10 B,$10 S. We had forgotten this fortune teller ’s advice. The next day….2728 !! Second prize !! We missed it and we truly *hit our hearts*…;D
On hindsight, I remember this fortune teller asked me when I had this small black dot on my palm. I said I was not sure. I now understand why he asked me and looked a bit concern. My guess is that I had this luck of striking the lottery but there was a block and the fortune was not meant to be for me. I believe the fortune teller didn’t dare to tell me.
