With flights slowly returning to normal a week after Iceland’s volcanic eruption, my blogging pal has also started planning for her next family vacation.

Wow, I am so envious! She just came back from her one-week trip to Hong Kong a few days ago and now she is ready to reserve a year end Branson vacation package.

You know, she is the only blogger that I know who has the time and money to enjoy 2 to 3 family vacations yearly. Her business is not affected by the bad economy at all, you know.

My buddy is trying his luck to see if he can win a 3 day 2 night Branson vacation as a surprise Christmas gift or romantic Valentine gift for his wife.

His wife has been longing for a family vacation to Branson, Missouri — the “Live Music Capital of the World” for a few years. But because of slow business, they keep putting off their Branson vacation plan.

If they are lucky enough to win a Branson vacation and make it during the Christmas holiday season, I am sure they get to enjoy the Ozark Mountain Christmas festivities that offer millions of lights, production shows with Christmas themes, shopping at name brand outlets and boutiques, theme park festivals and more.

As Branson is famous for its challenging and beautiful golf courses which are tucked away in the hills and valleys of the Ozarks, my buddy and his wife will definitely golf non-stop if they are on vacation there.

How I wish I could quickly settle my credit card debt and then try my luck on winning a Branson vacation!

I envy my buddies who can enjoy vacations every year. Their investments in stocks, penny stocks, mutual funds and property bring in passive income that is more than enough for them to have family vacations once a year or twice a year.

When is my next vacation? I have no idea, perhaps 3 or 5 years later. I am still loaded with tonnes of credit card debts that may take a few years to settle.
