Woohoo, hubby has just finished with the flex tubing installation!

Phew, no more ugly wires seen around the house! ^.^ll

The next thing hubby will do is to take down the wooden blinds for me so that I can give them a thorough wash.

Speaking of blinds, I am still using the same wood blinds I brought down from Cameron Highlands which I had used for 5 years there.

Five years plus more than 3 years here, wow, very durable wooden blinds to be had in the house!

Reading back my old post published in July 2007 after cleaning the kitchen lighting fixture makes me realize that I have actually left the highlands, Cameron Highlands, for almost two years.

Wow, time flies! I remember hubby and I moved away from the cool highlands in January 2008.

I am always asked whether I miss the cool highlands or I will ever move back there.

Do I miss the place? Well, yes. It’s a cool place to relax and have holidays.

Will I ever go back there to live and give tuition? Noop. I am happy living and working in hubby’s hometown now.

Working and living in Cameron Highlands again? Noop, thanks.

When I was living in Cameron Highlands, I complained a lot about hot weather in Ipoh. Whenever I had to go to Ipoh with hubby, I felt annoyed. I hated to go to Ipoh.

But people change, you know. After moving back to hubby’s home town in Ipoh, I am so used to the hot weather now.

It’s actually good to be hot. It makes you perspire, thus eliminate toxins from your body. Due to cool climate in Cameron Highlands, I didn’t sweat very often. As a result, it’s very sick for me to fall sick.

Besides, I am no longer in teaching line. Yes, I am very happy and relieved that I don’t have to make a living from teaching. I am more happy being an internet marketer now.

Building niche blogs and stores promoting credit cards, travel insurance policies, home mortgages, baby gifts, pink stuffs, unique gifts, cheap bargains, family gift ideas and endless niche products is more fun and interesting.

While trying to dig out some of my blog posts of gold cufflinks, I came across many old posts written about Cameron Highlands.

It’s been more than 5 months since hubby and I moved back to the small village. Life in a small village is definitely simpler. Things sold at the small village are so cheap that I am able to save more money and pay off more debt.

The same pink gifts I bought in the small village are more than 20% much cheaper.

While chatting with my aunt last night, she asked me when hubby and I would have holidays in Cameron Highlands again. I guess not this year. There are simply too many things to do this year.

Firstly, my uncle was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Hubby has to do the foot reflexology treatments for him a few times a week until his condition gets better.

Next is my grandma. She has recently lost his youngest son and is still in grief. My family members have to  keep her away from knowing that another son of hers is fighting his life with cancer.

After completing my review for a computer memory, I will visit my uncle and give him more support.

This month is going to be the last month I am in Cameron Highlands. Why ? I am moving to a new place with my hubby the end of this month.

Hubby is now a Branch Manager at an oil palm estate in Lenggong. Some friends in Cameron Highlands tried to persuade me not to leave. They advised me to consider setting up my own business of supplying wholesale flowers to the locals in Lenggong.

This means I travel both places. I have my own business but can still spend time with my hubby.

Too bad that I am not interested to travel both places. It’s going to take me more than 3 hours’ drive and I know this is too tiring for me.

Also, Cameron Highlands is a leading producer of flowers in Malaysia; be prepared for a lovely sight of extraordinary flowers you won’t see flourishing elsewhere in Malaysia.

Cameron Highlands is still home to many tea plantations — and much more. Tea and strawberries are grown on the terraced slopes of the Cameron Highlands, and the area possesses notable rose gardens as well.

The primary activities in the Cameron Highlands are all emphatically relaxing: touring, dining, shopping, and golfing.

Tea and scones in the Cameron Highlands is a tradition as well entrenched as traditional cuisine.

Visitors are attracted to the Cameron Highlands largely for a change of climate and pace. However, most visitors to Cameron Highlands are quite contented to take a stroll around the towns and soak in the relaxed atmosphere at the night stalls.

Cameron Highlands is the largest and most genteel of the hill resorts in Malaysia. Cameron Highlands is renowned for its cool countryside characters such as the Tudor architecture, the strikingly beautiful tea plantations, rose gardens, the strawberry farms, butterfly farms and lush rolling hills.

If you ever come to Cameron Highlands, tea plantations are one of the must-see features . You can visit the factories to see the process of tea production and some have shops where you can drink and buy tea for gifts.

As my hubby and I are tea lovers, we always receive tea, tea sets , tea gifts from friends. In return, we also like to give tea production besides flowers and vegetables to them.

Have you heard of tea blooms in Cameron Highlands ? Noop ? I wonder if I can find any tea blooms in Cameron Highlands. Honestly speaking, the first time my hubby and I saw tea blooms, we were impressed. It’s an eye-opener for us as we haven’t seen any in Cameron Highlands. Correct me if there are any tea blooms in Cameron Highlands…;D
