Come and see what attracts so many of the Hollywood celebs to make Malibu their home. There are a number of fine restaurants right on the coast in Malibu offering great ocean views and there are a number of cozy shopping centers.

You can’t trespass over the stars’ private property to get there without risking arrest, and access to this stretch of beach is difficult.

But fortunately, there are a few (almost hidden) legal public access routes to the Colony’s front beach, most notably the “Zonker Harris Accessway”- named after the suntan-crazy “Doonesbury” cartoon character. (more…)

Look at the photos above ! Look like luxury hotel room, right ? I couldn’t believe this is not a hotel room, but accommodation provided to the inmates at an addiction treatment center – Sunset Malibu. When I showed my hubby the photos, he also thought the same.

Yes, I do. But, in a very lazy way. When it comes to doing household chores, I am a lazy bone. You won’t find my house in spick and span condition. There will always be dust on certain home furniture.

Whenever I need help on cleaning and polishing home furniture, I will get help from my mother. I remember a call made to her last week and I was given thorough instructions on how to clean and polish a solid wood coffee table with wood and ivory inlays.

Ivory is extremely porous so I have to be very careful. Never use water or solvents because they may be absorbed and discolor or damage the ivory. Instead, use a dry cloth only for cleaning.
