Hubby and I came back from Ipoh this afternoon. We went to Kuala Lumpur on Friday because hubby wanted to witness the submitting of the memorandum to the Yang di Pertuan Agong on electoral reforms.
Hubby went to the Masjid Jamek and managed to inhale a bit of teargas…;p He regretted not going to the National Mosque. He came to know that there were 40,000 strong crowd from all over the country to show their displeasure on the state of our electoral system today.
Hubby was sad that the police used force against peaceful protesters. The leaders claimed that this is a democratic country, but what kind of democracy are they talking about if they prohibit people from exercising their constitutional rights !
