I am more of a Just-Do-It-Now person if compared to hubby who is totally different from me. He is a procrastinator.
If a pimple pops up, I want it to be lost in a day. If possible, in a few hours. This explains why there are acne treatment creams or acne patches available in the house at all time.
I know this just-do-it-now attitude has its drawback too. I tend to be more stressful as I want things to be done fast, now or at once. If things are not completed in time, I will blow out.

To be honest, I never like doing household chores. Life is hectic enough without having to sweat about the little things.
I am going to share with you some basic tips to help get things done while keeping your sanity.
1. When cleaning your house, divide it into sections then spend five minutes in each section. Use a timer so you’ll know you’ve spent 5 minutes in one area, then move on. You’ll get the big things done without worrying about the smaller stuff.
2. When your house gets too messy, get everyone in the family to drop whatever they’re doing and clean for 10 minutes. It’s not going to be perfect at the end of it, but it’s going to be better.
3. Errands eat up a lot of time, so keep a running list of tasks that need to be done, then try to them just one day a week.
I will keep on using tips for lazybones until my maid arrives. I envy you guys out there who have a maid to clean up all the mess for you.

I truly envy my buddy who is going to pursue her cosmetology education in one of the beauty institutes in Minneapolis next month.
Besides furthering her studies there, she will take this great opportunity to enjoy her long vacation in the states.
According to my buddy, Regency founded more than 50 years ago in Minneapolis is the fastest growing beauty school in the states. As part of their training, students provide high-quality, discounted salon services to the public under expert faculty supervision
My buddy chose Regency because Regency has a growing network of placement relationships, from salons to cruise ships and runways. So, my buddy is confident that she can secure a great job after she graduates from the institute.

If you are going to boot any bad habit from your life, make it procrastination. Our remarkable ability to put off until tomorrow what needs to be done today can undermine any chance for change.
1. Pick one thing from your list of procrastinated items and do it at the start of a workday before you do anything else. Then, give yourself a reward after you’ve completed it.
2. Write down three things that you could do today if you scheduled time for them. Post the list in a spot that you frequently see (your computer screen, for example), then commit to not leaving until all three are complete.
3. Delegate and celebrate. Hand things off at work and at home and trust that they’ll get done well. You’ll not only reduce your to-do list, you’ll also strengthen the abilities of your coworkers, kids and husband.

If you want to be happier, forget about spending money - focus on how you spend your time.
Sure, a bigger house and a fancier car might briefly put a smile on your face. Yet, the academic studies show that simply amassing more stuff won’t bring a permanent increase in your happiness.
Challenge Yourself. Leisure is more pleasurable than work. But you should also think about how you spend your leisure time. After a long day at the office, you might be inclined to stagger home and collapse in front of your new flat-screen television. But in fact, the research suggests you’ll be happier if you are more active. (more…)

1. Spend an hour a week doing one thing you really like - whatever it’s reading a book or listening to a CD.
2. Get a part-time cleaner to relieve you of your chores.
3. Get that beautiful dress you’ve been hankering after.
4. Listen to your body. If you’re tired, rest. Don’t go into overdrive.
5. Ask yourself what you want, then work towards achieving it so you can be proud of that one achievement.
6. If you need help, don’t be afraid to ask for it, whether from family or friends. Sharing your problem makes it a lot easier to handle. (more…)

Have a look at these 10 inspirational quotes that can improve yourself by “Life With Woody”.
It’s really interesting that how people go through the usual part of life when faced with vein-popping stress. I mean, the new age thing like Zen or yoga is one of the good things and it actually works.
Is there room for the intellectual side of people who can actually smell the roses-in-a-can while on the move? It kind of had me thinking that there really must be something in this ‘mind-over-matter’ thing.
Humor is indeed the best medicine there is whenever you are. I mean anyone can pay good money to listen to a comedian just to make you wet your pants after laughing so hard. (more…)

Almost everyone has heard the hit single ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy’ by Bobby McFerrin. The song has a very catchy way of conveying its message of being happy to everyone.
Living a happy, resilient and optimistic life is wonderful, and is also good for your health. Being happy actually protects you from the stresses of life. Stress is linked to top causes of death such as heart disease, cancer and stroke.
One of the better things ever said is - ‘The only thing in life that will always remain the same is change’, and in our life we have the power to make the necessary changes if we want to. Even if we find ourselves in an unbearable situation we can always find solace in the knowledge that it too would change. (more…)

She minds her own business, except when it comes to her son. Don’t hang your underwear overhead in case he steps under them, housework is your responsibility, and so on. Should you speak to your husband or talk to her directly ?
Deal with it. Do neither. Usually, the mother-in-law’s main worries are losing their son’s attention and a power struggle arises. Treat her with respect. You don’t have to follow what she says but ask for her opinion. When she sees you mean well and care for her son, she will let go.

It’s quite obvious that after hubby and I move to Lenggong next month, I will have more time.
I have no plan to give tuition there, thus most of my time will be spent on managing my niche blogs. Other than that, I will have the opportunity to learn cooking and baking.
Perhaps I should consider taking up a college accreditation degree program offered by Capella University.
Founded in 1993, Capella University is an accredited, fully online university that offers graduate degree programs in business, information technology, education, human services, psychology, public health, and public safety, and bachelor’s degree programs in business, information technology, and public safety.
I am sure that traveling all the way to a university to study a degree in Psychology is out of the question, thus online education is my only option.
