My dear hubby doesn’t know that I am pissed off now. Not wanting to talk to him, I am sitting in front of my computer doing my assignments.

He thinks I am just busy rushing my assignments and articles submission.

It’s something that he said during breakfast that irritated me. His brother is another reason why I am mad about him. He told me last night that he would give this younger brother some money.

Hello?? Sometimes the money that he gives his brother is from my money! It’s my hard earned money from selling the best acne treatment products online, you know!

I really dislike this brother in law very much! Each time he comes back, he will either borrow money from hubby or get hubby to give him some money.

I feel happy for my younger brother-in-law who finally decided to enroll in the BA in fire service administration. He has always wanted to pursue his studies after working for so many years.

He has also encouraged hubby to sign up one of Lewis University Online’s highly respected online master’s degrees.

Of course, I hope hubby can realize his dream one day when our credit card debt is gone and my online income is more than enough to support the whole family.

If my online income can cover all the household expenses, I am sure hubby can focus on his studies fully.

It’s possible for hubby to pursue his studies again, just that it’s not the right time yet.

Hubby and I used to have more than 15 credit cards before our debt reduction: 0% interest credit cards; low interest credit cards; cash back credit cards; rewards credit cards; business credit cards; sports credit cards and airline credit cards.

Now, whenever we are offered credit card offers, be it a sports credit card or a bad credit credit card at the shopping malls, we will think twice.

Sometimes, we take time to compare credit cards offered by various banks.

I used to have more than 5 savings accounts. After I began my debt reduction program, I decided to close 3 of them.

It is always better to open an account in no more than one or two banks. Getting a few more bank accounts is not recommended. This is because you may lose track of your finances. This takes place especially if you are in the habit of operating all the accounts simultaneously. As a result, the savings in each diminishes at the same time.

Staying within your budget when you buy clothing, food, gifts, household items, and computer supplies isn’t as difficult as you think. Here are some tips:

1. Save money on clothing, a huge expense for families. It makes no sense to spend a lot on children’s clothes and lucky parents have a hand-me-down source for occasionally worn good clothing.

Shop the sale seasons. The best clothing sales are in February and August. Buy high quality classic items at half price.

2. Save money on food with good shopping habits. Plan your weekly menu around the grocery store sale flyers. Make a list before going to the market and go through your coupons for further discounts.

3. Save money on toys, gifts, and home decor that sneak up on your well-planned budget.
Shop for next year’s Christmas supplies the week after Christmas. Toys go on sale in January. Stock up on birthday presents then by taking your regular birthday list with you.

4. Look for rebates and special offers when buying computer software, mobile router, peripherals, and supplies.

As my hubby and I are loaded with $55,150 credit card debts, we make sure that we read articles and tips provided free online to increase our knowledge. The more information we have related to credit card debts, loans, mortgages, car loans and debt relief options, the wiser we are in handling our debt issue.

So far, we have settled some of our credit cards using the help of personal loans and balance transfers. To pay off our credit cards fast, a blogging pal suggested that we refinance our house. Besides taking cash out to settle some of our credit card debts, we make lower repayments monthly.

She was glad that she got the Oregon mortgage refinance recently after being convinced of the benefits. Not only can she use the money on home improvements, part of the money has been used to fund her daughter’s college education. She even spreads the word around about Oregon mortgage refinance to her family and friends whenever the chance arises.
