Gosh! I am really in need of a super strong diet pill now to shed some of the pounds that I put on these past few days.

Hubby and I were urged to take our family members who had come all the way from another state to as many renowned restaurants and food stalls for famous local foods as possible.

You know, during their 3-day-2-night stay in our small village, they tried almost every famous food they were recommended to by the villagers.

As hubby and I followed them from one place to another, we had to eat whatever they ordered.

I took a whole day off from my niche blogs and stores yesterday because of my headache. My head was so painful that it looked like it was getting to explode.

Hubby asked me if I had eaten any food that may have triggered the severe headache. I guess it might have been the vegetable juice that I had in the morning. I remember I got a severe headache a few weeks ago and on that morning too I did have a glass of the same vegetable juice.

Luckily I finished most of my diet supplement articles and reviews the day before yesterday. If not, I would have to rush and rush now.

I guess a lot of vacationers tend to gain weight after their vacations. Who can resist pizza, torte verdure, bruschetta, crostini and spaghetti when holidaying in Italy? Or Pecan Pie and Mississippi-Mud Pie, as well as Cajun and Creole cuisine in the US?

I can’t resist the temptation of authentic food. I will eat and eat when I am on vacation. But once I am back, I will do everything to lose weight. Taking diet pills, doing exercise, having body massage treatments, to name a few.

My hubby and I are having our hot and short holidays in Kuala Lumpur this coming Monday…;D I am all ready with my clothes packed into my hot red Samsonite luggage. My hubby thought that I am a bit exaggerated.

I haven’t been in Kuala Lumpur for some time.In case you are new to my blog, I was born and brought up in Kuala Lumpur. Oh…I miss the food there. Yummy ! Wantan noodles. I haven’t found any delicious Wantan noodles in Ipoh or Cameron Highlands yet after living in both places for more than 5 years. I always lament to my hubby that the best Wantan noodles I have ever eaten can only be found in Kuala Lumpur.

School holiday is around the corner – from 17th to 26th August. If you are planning to come to Cameron Highlands, the mix of cold , dry air and indoor heat can stress your skin. Here are are a few handy tips to get your skin glowing for those holiday snapshots.

1. Moisturise. Slather on a cream or lotion that contains petrolatum, mineral oil glycerin or ceramides to keep your skin from developing severely dry skin.

2. Shorten shower time. A long, hot bath or shower may sound like heaven. I know…;D and I love hot shower too. But, hot water can wreak havoc on your skin. take lukewarm showers instead, then pat yourself dry with a towel afterwards and apply a moisturiser within 3 minutes of stepping out of the shower to lock in moisture.

3. Stay hydrated. Drink lots of water so you don’t get dehydrated – don’t wait until you feel thirsty.

4. Skin deep nutrition. Take advantage of the cool weather for fresh produce in Cameron Highlands. Eat nourishing, antioxidant-paced fruits, vegetables and omega-3s to help promote a healthy body and glowing skin.
