Car Angel (www.carangel.com) is a non-profit company that uses car and other donations to make videos for kids and teens. They have given away over 2.4 million videos.

If you would like to sell your car in future for just a few hundred bucks, why not consider car donation ? A few hundred bucks can feed many orphans and old people.

One of the organizations that has been helping orphans, at risk youth and the homeless with donations of cars, boats, property and houses is Car Angel.

Car Angel is a non-profit organization which is now reaching out to the world by channeling the proceeds collected from the car donations into producing free DVDs for Kids.

A buddy of mine who is a Canadian has decided to move back to Canada with her Malaysian hubby the end of the year.

The main reason of her and her hubby’s leaving for Canada is that she and her hubby are not satisfied with the salary packages and working environment in Malaysia. When it comes to expressing their views, they seemed to be restricted by their superiors, especially concerning political and education issues. They still prefer working in international corporate world that allows freedom of thought and speech. (more…)

I told hubby that once our credit card debts are fully settled, I would like to enroll in capella university and study an online degree in Health Care Administration.

Initially, I wanted to pursue tourism. But then, I find that people are getting more health-conscious owing to hectic lifestyles. Therefore, health care sector will be playing more important role. I am more concerned about senior health care, so given a chance, I would love to set up a senior health care center when I am debt free.

Capella University which was founded in 1993 is an accredited, fully online university that offers graduate online degree programs in business, information technology, education, human services, public health, public safety, and psychology, and bachelor’s degree programs in business, information technology, and public safety.

Taking up an online degree means that I can still write assignments at the comfort of my home and earn money. I don’t think I have time to attend classes in a campus…;D

I am so jealous …;P My buddy and her hubby decided to further their studies in the US. She enrolls in School of Nursing at Hondros College while her hubby takes up real estate sales courses.

As both of them are rich financially, it’s not a problem for them to leave behind their jobs. Anyway, they work part-time only. Their main income sources are from online businesses. This is why they can further their studies anytime they like.

Besides studying, they hope to take this opportunity to travel around the US. There are so many interesting places: Jerome, which is close to Prescott. It used to be a ghost town but it’s now filled with artists, musicians, hermits, and writers; the beautiful part Grand Canyon and the Yosemite Valley which is home to many magnificent rock outcrops, such as Half Dome and El Capitan.

Students and I are still enjoying 11-day Hari Raya break. Most of them have gone for holidays or vacations with their family and will only be back on Sunday.

I am grateful that I still have second income from writing paid reviews. Otherwise, I am like a cat on hot bricks scratching my head trying to find more money.

There are still small groups of students who do not go anywhere for their holidays. I got some requests from them last week if I could give them Algebra Tutoring. They must be kidding ! I am weak at Maths at all …;D I asked them to look for Club Z! Tutoring Services which is the world’s largest one-on-one tutoring program.

I read that their tutors have helped over 100,000 students improve their grades, raise their test scores, learn productive study skills, build their academic self-confidence, and reach their full potential.

I can’t believe it ! My students just told me that they are going to have an 11-day Hari Raya break. Huh ? Do they need so many days to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri ?

I wonder if other national secondary schools have 11-day break too. If I am not mistaken, after the festive break, students study for less than a month and the year end school holiday starts !

After reading how my organs can save many lives, I signed up as one of the organ donors more than 10 years ago. My donor card is in my purse all the time.

I know that it is a taboo for most Chinese to sign up as organ donors. They still want to have ‘full corpse‘ after they are dead. For me, why waste our good organs, corneas and tissues ?

Give others a second lease on life through organ transplants. For those who have been given second chance to live will tend to make the most of each day and live life to the fullest.

Though my hubby gives courses to parents on how to teach their kids to be creative in thinking, parents often turn to my hubby for help when it comes to dealing with their rebellious teens.

Parents understand that their teens are going through a difficult time and they are facing various types of pressure such as study pressure and peer pressure, but they don’t now how to deal with their rebellious teens.

According to the parents, their teens tend to throw tantrums and yell at them very often and easily. If their stress is not dealt properly, it may lead to destructive behaviors.

My hubby recommended Dr. Morse’s Kick-Out-Stress Program to parents in the hope of improving teen self esteem and helping them cope with the myriad demands and stresses that all teens face today.
